The Duchess of Edinburgh showcased her sporty side as she carried out a solo outing, but she had to make a quick wardrobe change beforehand.
Sophie has had a busy 2026 already, as she attended The Lighthouse in Woking last week, before visiting England Hockey at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre.
She took part in a training session with the team’s goalkeeper, Miriam Pritchard.
Before she was able to take part in the training session, the royal had to quickly swap out of her black suede heeled ankle boots for some more fitting shoes.

The 60-year-old decided to wear £160 Ultraboost 5 trainers by Adidas, which feature cushioned soles and a pink flare to show some colour in an otherwise black outfit.
Sophie opted for slim-fit black trousers, a roll neck jumper, a black blazer and a plaid scarf, which was quickly removed ahead of the training session.
The sport-focused outing comes just days after Sophie visited The Lighthouse in Woking, Surrey, ahead of the charity's upcoming relocation.
As patron of the organisation, her royal highness spent time with volunteers as they packed up the site for a move just around the corner.
Sophie was given a first glimpse of The Lighthouse's temporary home while their current space is under redevelopment.
A spokesman for the charity spoke after the visit from the royal saying: “We were delighted to welcome Her Royal Highness and share the progress being made.

"This collaboration represents a significant step forward for The Lighthouse and for the people we support, ensuring our services can continue and grow as part of Woking's redevelopment."
Sophie spoke with staff and volunteers over a cup of tea, and heard about the exciting plans the charity has for 2026.
