Joe Biden has suffered a blistering attack from a member of his own party over his failure to deal with the migrant crisis in New York.
A surge of more than 130,000 migrants has overwhelmed the city and left taxpayers picking up the bill.
Biden’s latest plan to deal with the crisis is to place as many as 2,000 migrant families at Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn.
Legal Aid Society has blasted the plan, claiming it was “not safe” for families and children to be there and that it was “not humane”.

Speaking at the Christian Cultural Center in Brooklyn, former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo who is a member of the Democratic Party said the plan to house migrants at Floyd Bennett Field “defies common sense”.
“Floyd Bennet Field is an old airstrip,” Cuomo said.
“It’s a flood plain. It’s a transportation desert.
“It will effectively isolate thousands of migrants who need our help and deserve our help.
“And it’s going to cost taxpayers millions of dollars.”
Cuomo fell short of naming both Biden and current New York Governor Kathy Hochul in his speech, but made clear he was speaking about his fellow blue party colleagues.
His comments come after New York Mayor Eric Adams warned the migrant crisis has the power to “destroy the city”.
“We have a migrant issue,” Cuomo continued.
“Now it’s a hot political potato, so the federal government and the state government want to have nothing to do with it, and they left it to New York City.
“But how can New York City handle 130,000 migrants? Mayor Adams is right — the city can’t bear the burden alone.”
