World leaders were left visibly uncomfortable as Donald Trump delivered a blistering address at the World Economic Forum, an eyewitness has told GB News.
US journalist Hadley Gamble said the packed room was swept up in a tense atmosphere, with CEOs and politicians desperate not to draw the President’s attention.
Taking to the stage at Davos, Mr Trump declared he will "not use force" to obtain Greenland for US control, but warned that the nation "will remember" if they say no.
Speaking on Britain's News Channel just hours after the address, Ms Gamble said: "People were very worried, whether they were CEOs who’ve been on Mr Trump’s team all along or members of the international community.

"When we’re talking about ministers such as Emmanuel Macron, Ursula von der Leyen privately, those concerns were echoed by CEOs speaking to me off the record.
"They simply didn’t want to get in the President’s bad graces. They didn’t want to incur the ire of Donald Trump.
"But if you think about it this way: for as much as this crowd tends to hate on Donald Trump, people were standing in line for two hours to get into that room just to claim a seat.
"It was packed to the rafters. So they may hate him most of the time, but they certainly wanted to be near him.

"And I have to say, the conversation he was having with the delegates, he was speaking directly to them.
Martin Daubney asked: "Hadley, I want to ask you something, because you were in the room and I’m always fascinated by the optics.
"I can only compare it to one of those comedy clubs where you really don’t want to be on the front row, you don’t want to be singled out by the man with the microphone because you’re going to be eviscerated.
"He name-checked Emmanuel Macron, saying, 'what the hell has happened to him and his sunglasses?'

"He even did an impression, it sounded like something out of ’Allo ’Allo! He completely eviscerated Macron, saying he caved in within three minutes over a pharmaceuticals deal.
"He singled out Mark Carney, saying, “'I saw you when you were acting tough in your statement.
"'You should be grateful, remember that.' He said Canada had received nothing but freebies from the United States.
"Even the people in the room, it was absolutely flamethrower stuff, Hadley."
Ms Gamble said: "No doubt about it. But listen the President isn’t far off on this one.
"At the end of the day, he considers these people friends, because they all came hat in hand to the White House when they were afraid. They were afraid and they stayed because Donald Trump was speaking again."
The US President told world leaders in Davos this afternoon that he is seeking immediate negotiations to acquire Greenland.
He said: "We probably won't get anything unless I decide to use excessive strength and force, where we would be frankly unstoppable. But I won't do that"
