Suella Braverman has launched a scathing attack on Sir Keir Starmer after the Prime Minister appeared to be snubbed by Donald Trump during the Gaza Summit in Egypt.
Reacting on GB News, Mrs Braverman said the moment was “an embarrassment for all of us”.
The incident unfolded as the US President invited world leaders onto the stage following the signing of a historic Gaza peace deal.
Videos showed Mr Trump asking: “Where is the UK?"

Sir Keir responded by raising his hand and muttering something out of range for the microphone to pick up.
In an uncomfortable turn of events, the Prime Minister subsequently walked up to Mr Trump's podium, as if to speak after Mr Trump said: "Come up here, is everything going good?"
"Very good," Sir Keir said, smiling, before slowly walking back to his original place behind the US President.
Discussing the moment, Mrs Braverman said: “To watch Keir Starmer be snubbed so humiliatingly by President Trump yesterday on the stage, literally on the world stage, is an embarrassment for all of us.
“It makes me ashamed to be British right now because we’ve got such a weak, apathetic, craven, spineless person leading our country.”
The former Home Secretary also accused Sir Keir of being “on the wrong side of history” by recognising the state of Palestine ahead of the peace deal.

She said the decision was “not just pandering to left-wing extremists in his own party, but actively unhelpful to the peace process".
The Fareham & Waterlooville MP explained: "Secretary of State Marco Rubio has said it was unhelpful when the UK chose unilaterally to recognise Palestine at the time they did.
"We’ve had the US Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, say the UK is deluded if it thinks it made any meaningful contribution to this peace process.
“And then we see Keir Starmer trying to photobomb and claim credit at the eleventh hour.

"It’s humiliating but it’s also very, very sad that we’ve got politicians with such poor judgment leading our country.”
Sir Keir later shared a photo from the moment on social media as he praised Trump.
He wrote: “President Trump, this is your achievement. I thank you for your tireless efforts to deliver this moment.
"The UK stands ready to support a full implementation of the peace plan.”
