Sadiq Khan has been slapped down by furious Tories after launching a "childish" personal attack against Robert Jenrick.
Jenrick, the Shadow Justice Secretary, had shared a video confronting alleged fare-dodgers on the London Underground - prompting the Mayor of London to erupt into a tirade against him.
In his string of attacks, Khan referred to Jenrick as "Mr Ozempic", a reference to his apparent weight loss over the last year or so.
Jenrick has confessed to using the popular weight-loss drug - but said he "didn't particularly enjoy it".

"Fare evasion is an issue," the Mayor said.
"It's an issue for London, has been for some time and that's one of the reasons why we've invested hugely in terms of - not just enforcement officers, not just in terms of body-worn videos, not just in terms of CCTV, but invested in the police as well.
"What I find ironic, and it's an example of the chutzpah of Mr Ozempic, is that he was in government when the Government cut more than £1billion from their police budget.
"He was in government when the Government removed Transport for London's operating grant, and now he's criticising the consequences of the cuts in policing and TfL made by his Government," Khan spat to Times Radio.
"Where was he in 2010 or 2024 when those cuts were being made in our policing? Where was he in 2015 when the government cut their operating grant to TfL?"

But Jenrick's party colleagues in City Hall have come out to defend for him.
The London Assembly's Tory chief Susan Hall said: "It's relieving to hear Sir Sadiq suddenly discover how devastating police cuts are, considering that up to 1,700 officers in London face the chop because he and this disastrous Labour Government refuse to make up the gap in police funding.
"Perhaps if the Mayor stopped calling a member of the King's Privy Council childish names and focused on the issue at hand, we could actually solve antisocial behaviour in the capital."
Speaking to the camera in his now-viral video clip, Jenrick had said: "Nearly one in 25 people using London's public transport aren't paying for it.
"It's annoying watching so many people break the law and get away with it - or at least most of the time.
"It's the same with bike theft, phone theft, tool theft, shoplifting, drugs in town centres, weird Turkish barber shops... It's all chipping away at society."

PAIt wasn't just the Mayor of London - the Shadow Justice Secretary also faced a grilling on ITV's Good Morning Britain on Monday over his video.
Ex-Labour Minister - and Home Secretary Yvette Cooper's husband - Ed Balls jabbed: "Any particular weird Turkish barber shops you've gone round with your video camera yet?"
But Jenrick hit back, saying: "I haven't done that, but the National Crime Agency has".
GB News has approached the Mayor of London for comment.
