The People's Forum will be an election event unlike no other, with ordinary voters given the opportunity to grill the Conservative leader face-to-face.

The special event will take place at a venue in the North East, which is set to be one of the most important battlegrounds of the country when it comes to determining the outcome of the election.

In 2019, many seats in the Red Wall of the UK - which comprises of constituencies in the North of England and midlands - voted for the Conservative Party for the first time.

Millions of voters turned their backs on the Labour Party to vote for Boris Johnson's Tory Party.

"Politicians have been telling the Prime Minister what he should be doing for a long time – now it’s time for the people who really matter to put their questions to him.

"As an election looms, it’s going to be a fascinating night."
