Pro-Palestine demonstrations have repeatedly happened since Hamas’s terror attack in Israel

Richard Tice has hit out at protests taking place across the country that he says aim to “terrify” politicians.

Pro-Palestine demonstrations have repeatedly happened since Hamas’s terror attack in Israel on October 7.

According to the Reform UK leader, the protests are volatile and many of his party’s candidates are being “issued with death threats” as a result of their stance on the conflict.

“I’ve had to move my staff out of accommodation”, he said.

“The police in Parliament Square are terrified. I’ve got candidates being issued with death threats.

“This is a terrible situation and sadly these marches have been allowed to go ahead.

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:

“They’ve broken the law in multiple cases and they’ve created a sense of terror and fear.”

Tice has called on Home Secretary James Cleverly to condemn the marches in stronger terms and call them out as “anti-Semitic”.

“That’s why they’ve got to stop”, he added.

“The right to protest is sacrosanct but it doesn’t give you the right to break the law.”

Bev Turner commented it is “individuals” who break the law who are not necessarily representative of the whole protest.

“Have you been into these marches and talked to these people?”, Tice asked.

“I’ve been into two of them and on both occasions they were vile, ranting, abusive.

“I just asked them, do you want to release the hostages? Do you condemn October 7? And do you condemn Hamas?

“They weren’t prepared to do it on October 9th, before Israel had even responded.”

It comes after it was reported the Reform UK leader is looking to bolster his ranks with the addition of Lee Anderson, who has been suspended from the Tory Party.

Anderson claimed on GB News that Islamists have “control” of London Mayor Sadiq Khan and has since doubled down on his remarks.

Anderson would go on to not apologise in a decision that would cost him the party whip.

Rumours are rife as to what the Ashfield MP’s next move will be and he has failed to rule out a move to the Reform Party.

It even emerged he had met Vice in a Holiday Inn at junction 28 of the M1 in South Normanton, Derbyshire.

Tice refused to be drawn on speaking about the possibility of acquiring Anderson’s services in his interview with Bev Turner and Andrew Pierce.

“I’m not giving a running commentary of who I speak to from whichever party”, he said.

“What I am saying is, the Tories have got themselves in a complete and utter pickle over this issue.”
