POLL OF THE DAY: Do you think Starmer has handled the riots badly? YOUR VERDICT

Keir Starmer has come under fire for his handling of the riots which have erupted all over the country.
The Prime Minister, who on Tuesday held an emergency Cobra meeting to address the issue, warned violent rioters would feel the “full force of the law”.
However, his warning didn’t stop thousands from taking to the streets last night, as police met with protesters and counter-protesters at dozens of events across the nation.
Large crowds of anti-racism protesters appeared last night as a ninth day of potential violence threatened to emerge.

“This is not linked to protest, this appears to be pure anti-social behaviour,” Met Police said
“Officers are moving in numbers to make arrests.”
