Shabana Mahmood has said she will stop at nothing to expose the grooming gang rapists - but will she be able to salvage the crumbling inquiry?

Shabana Mahmood has promised there will be "no hiding place for those who abused the most vulnerable in our society" in the upcoming inquiry into the grooming gangs scandal.

The Home Secretary wrote for GB News on the topic after preparations for the inquiry appeared to falter.

Four of the victims set to advise the inquiry have quit, and one of the two candidates to chair it has withdrawn.

The third victim to leave the inquiry told GB News she did so because she feared there was a lack of "genuine understanding of the grooming gangs scandal".

However, Ms Mahmood pledged the upcoming "statutory, national inquiry" into the gangs "is not, and never will be watered down on my watch".

Now, the People's Channel is asking: Do you back the Home Secretary to finally get the grooming gangs inquiry back on track?
