Nigel Farage has reacted after the Tories faced a shocking night.
The Conservative Party faced a double blow after Labour swept up the vote in Wellingborough and Kingwood last night.
Gen Kitchen secured Wellingborough with 45.8 per cent of the vote, while Damien Egan won Kingswood with 44.9 per cent of the vote.
The results provided Labour with a boost after a U-turn on the party's pledge to spend £28 billion on green projects and the antisemitism rows this week.
Nigel Farage praised the Labour win as "absolutely enormous"

Speaking on GB News, Farage said: "An absolutely enormous win. I mean, Wellingborough, in terms of class, in terms of income, is almost an old Thatcherite-type seat, not your middle classes in Kingswood.
"The remarkable thing about the result is how reflective it is of national opinion polling, you know four hundred sixty-two thousand five hundred thirteen with the three parties remarkable. So it is a very big win for Labour.
"Tonight was the night reform came of age. It became a real political party, not a theoretical political party and both those results show that. We'll have to see where it goes from here.
"The other one that stands out to me is the Liberal Democrats have lost in both of these seats.

"I don't think either of them have that inspirational flair that some people have in life. And yet, if you think about the parliamentarians who do have it, Michael Gove comes to my mind.
"Now he's not ever going to be a a particularly popular party leader, but my goodness, does he have that art of oratory nailed off."
The results mean the Government has now suffered the most by-election defeats of any government since the 1960s, surpassing the eight defeats suffered by John Major in the run-up to Tony Blair's 1997 landslide victory.
Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer hailed the victories, saying: "These are fantastic results in Kingswood and Wellingborough that show people want change and are ready to put their faith in a changed Labour Party to deliver it.”
