Around the country, voters in every single constituency have lent their support to a landmark petition - is YOURS one?

A damning new map has revealed the top 10 seats turning on asylum spending, just days after a landmark petition to halt "financial and other support for asylum seekers" crossed the 100,000 mark.

On Tuesday, the poll shot up by tens of thousands in a single day to reach 100,000, setting the stage for a parliamentary debate.

Then on Thursday, damning data from YouGov revealed that almost three quarters of the public say Labour is handling immigration badly, with 52 per cent saying it is handling the issue "very badly".

Around the country, voters in every single constituency have lent their support to the petition, which pushes to "discontinue support measures and payments" to asylum seekers in Britain.

Now, GB News has trawled through the data and has found the top 10 Labour-held seats where Britons are making their voices heard.

UNBOXED

LIVERPOOL WALTON - 643 VOTES

Dan Carden, one of the outspoken "Red Wall" Labour MPs, has seen his seat rank tenth nationwide for signatories of the landmark petition.

Some 643 of Carden's constituents back a move to turn off the taps - 0.6 per cent of the population of his seat.

CRAMLINGTON & KILLINGWORTH - 656 VOTES

Emma Foody's constituency, just north of the Tyne, ranks ninth in the country for the number of signatures on the asylum petition. That's just shy of 0.7 per cent of its population.

BLACKPOOL NORTH & FLEETWOOD - 658 VOTES

Lorraine Beavers's eighth-placed constituency returned 658 signatures to the petition, or 0.69 per cent of its population.

Late last year, Beavers acknowledged: "I know that immigration is a concern for many residents, so I am also committed to ensuring that the new Government reforms our broken immigration and asylum system to get immigration levels back under control."

WIDNES & HALEWOOD - 662 VOTES

Labour veteran Derek Twigg's seat saw 662 people lend their backing to the landmark petition. He is one of the party's more conservative MPs, having voted against gay marriage in 2013, and more than 0.7 per cent of his constituents back the poll.

Back in 2016, he was one of the first MPs to query the Home Office on asyluym hotels, and posed a question to then-Home Secretary Amber Rudd on "what plans there are to open asylum seeker hostels within the next six months, as a planning application for a facility in Widnes is due to be decided next year".

HOUSE OF COMMONS

REDCAR - 664 VOTES

Anna Turley's sixth-placed Redcar seat saw 664 voters back the petition - 0.71 per cent of its population.

Turley has been outspoken in hailing Yvette Cooper's migration plans. Just days ago, she said on social media: "Deportations continue at pace. We have a long way to go but we are moving in the right direction."

NORTH WARWICKSHIRE & BEDWORTH - 669 VOTES

Rachel Taylor's constituency is the second most southerly to feature in the top 10. There, the petition has taken back 669 signatures.

Like many Labour MPs on this list, she has been outspoken on migration and attacked the Tories for "broken promises" and "record levels" in the Commons just a few weeks ago.

LLANELLI - 671 VOTES

Another Labour veteran - this time, 20-year MP Nia Griffith - has seen support for the petition skyrocket in her seat with 671 votes.

And again, she has publicly spoken out on the issue, acknowledging how "tackling illegal immigration remains a key issue whenever I speak with local people" on her website.

"Wales is a welcoming country and here in Llanelli we have been proud to support those fleeing war and persecution in pursuit of safety," she wrote.

"I believe we should continue to promote those values of understanding, compassion and respect. However, it is equally important action is taken when people enter our country illegally and that we have secure borders and an immigration system that is firm but fair."

HOUSE OF COMMONS

HARTLEPOOL - 682 VOTES

Hartlepool, home to migration hardliner Jonathan Brash, saw 0.73 per cent of its constituents back the petition with 682 votes.

He has been quick to cool concerns from the left about speaking out on the migrant crisis. He told GB News' Political Editor Christopher Hope that being worried about immigration is "legitimate" and does not "make you right-wing or racist", just two weeks ago.

HOUGHTON & SUNDERLAND SOUTH - 683 VOTES

The second-placed seat in the top 10, home to Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson, has seen 683 voters sign the petition.

Phillipson has hailed her party's line about taking migration down, but even as far back as January this year, discontent with Labour in various polls tipped her to lose her seat.

TAMWORTH - 715 VOTES

Tamworth tops the 10 seats which have seen voters turn on asylum spending, and MP Sarah Edwards has seen 715 constituents sign the petition.

But it was there, last summer, where she vowed "residents want their hotel back" in the Commons, referring to a Holiday Inn in Tamworth, which just weeks later became the site of violent unrest.
