GB News Home and Security Editor Mark White has declared that "nothing has changed" since Labour came to power, noting that "record numbers are coming across" on the very anniversary of the Government's formation.
The People's Channel can reveal the number of Channel migrant crossings in the year since Sir Keir Starmer entered No10 is 40 per cent higher than those made during Rishi Sunak’s last 365 days in Downing Street.
Since Starmer's Labour landslide win in last year's General Election, more than 44,000 migrants have reached British shores via small boats, including 20,600 so far this calendar year.
Reporting live from Dover harbour, Mark told GB News that today alone, approximately 250 migrants have crossed the Channel, with at least three more boats carrying an estimated 150 to 200 people still at sea.

Mark said of the Starmer's first year tackling the migrant crisis: "Whatever Sir Keir Starmer is saying in terms of smashing the gangs, it's not making a difference," White said.
"In fact, record numbers are coming across, and today, the very day that they celebrate supposedly the first anniversary of the Labour Government in office, that pledge he made on that very first day that he would smash the gangs, it's clear that nothing is really coming to fruition in terms of any reduction in the numbers crossing."
Mark bluntly warned that Britain is likely to top the record year, seeing "the biggest year so far for migrant crossings".
Those who arrived this morning are now being transported from Dover Harbour's initial processing facility to the main centre at Manston, located further along the coast.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
More than 2,000 migrants have arrived in Dover since Sunday alone
PA"The processing centre at Dover Harbour, where some of those 250 migrants who arrived this morning are now boarding the buses, having gone through that initial processing at the facility here at Dover Harbour then taken to the main processing facility at Manston," White explained.
After spending a day or two at Manston, migrants are then distributed to various accommodations across the country.
"They're there for a day or two before then being farmed out to a hotel near you, perhaps, or increasingly now, accommodation in the rented sector or local authority accommodation. So literally a property near you," White said.
"Sir Keir Starmer is still sticking by that law enforcement approach," White noted, adding that when speaking to Government officials, "the message, the mood sort of music that comes from Government when you speak to them is, well, this is a long term endeavour to smash the gangs."

However, White pointed out the stark reality: "It's been a year and as I say, there's been not not only no slowdown, but actually the numbers are increasing, coming across the Channel."
A Home Office spokesman said: "We all want to end dangerous small boat crossings, which threaten lives and undermine our border security. That is why this Government has put together a serious plan to take down the people smuggling gangs at every stage, backed with more investment in the Border Security Command.
"Through international intelligence sharing under our Border Security Command, enhanced enforcement operations in Northern France and tougher legislation in the Border Security, Asylum & Immigration Bill, we are strengthening international partnerships and boosting our ability to identify, disrupt, and dismantle criminal gangs.
"We have also returned nearly 30,000 failed asylum seekers, foreign criminals and other people with no right to be in the UK."
