A furious row erupted on GB News between Labour Party activist Chris Worrall and Global Britain Founding Chairman Alan Bhogal over Rachel Reeves' economic policies and government spending priorities.
The heated exchange saw Bhogal launch a scathing attack on Labour's financial management, declaring: "The last time Labour were in power, we all remember the note they left in the Treasury saying 'sorry, there's no more money left'. That's exactly the direction this Labour Government is heading."
GB News star Ben Leo also waded into the debate, accusing Labour of thinking "the British people are thick and stupid". Worrall hit back with "absolute nonsense" as tensions quickly escalated between the participants.
Bhogal outlined a series of government expenditures he viewed as misplaced priorities, asking: "How is it that they can afford £8 million a day on the migrant hotel scam but they can't afford to heat the homes of pensioners?"

He listed various spending commitments, stating: "They can give away £30 billion for Chagos and £6.9 billion for a public sector pay rise. Carbon capture is £22 billion, overseas climate aid £11.6 billion, train drivers £675 million."
Bhogal concluded his criticism by declaring: "The bottom line here is, people are not stupid."

Ben suggested Labour prioritised trivial matters over pressing concerns saying: "British people do not care about such nonsense, they care about their bills being paid."
The debate intensified when discussion turned to bond market performance and the credibility of the Office for Budget Responsibility.
Liz Truss's record was debated
PAWhen Worrall attempted to reference the OBR, Bhogal quickly interrupted: "Who in their right mind respects the OBR?"
Worrall responded: "The bond markets." Bhogal countered by highlighting current market conditions: "The same bond markets are at a 30-year high, more than they were under Liz Truss. Are you telling me Rachel Reeves is tanking the economy?"
Worrall defended the government's position, stating: "The premium to the average in the G7 for bond yields has spiked since Liz Truss."
He argued that bond yields had "spiked above the average under Liz Truss and it has remained higher", questioning whether Labour had reversed this trend.

The exchange became increasingly fractious as participants repeatedly interrupted each other, with Worrall growing visibly frustrated at the constant interjections. "I'm answering your point", he protested when Bhogal attempted to cut him off again.
Bhogal dismissed Worrall's economic analysis as "waffle", prompting an exasperated response: "It's not waffle if you listen for two seconds!"
Worrall continued his defence of government policy, explaining: "What Rachel Reeves has done is provide hard headroom. It's caused infighting with the soft left."
Bhogal launched a broader attack on the OBR itself, calling it "a Blairite institution jam packed with the people who have made sure this country has tanked over the last 30 years". He concluded: "It doesn't work."
