Labour has suspended a shadow minister after receiving a complaint about his conduct.
Shadow foreign office minister Bambos Charalambous has had the whip removed, meaning that he is no long allowed to sit as part of the Parliamentary Labour Party.
He remains a member of the Labour Party more broadly.
It is understood the MP for Enfield Southgate was suspended as a result of a complaint made to the party's independent complaints process.

The party's rules mean that once a complaint is made an MP is automatically suspended pending the outcome of an investigation.
Charalambous said in a statement following his suspension: "I am aware that there is an allegation that requires investigation by the Labour party.
"It is right and proper that process is allowed to take place.
"I will cooperate fully and play my full part. It is not appropriate to say anything further at this time."
The Labour Party has been contacted for comment.
Charalambous becomes the 12th Labour Party MP to have been suspended or to have resigned in disgrace since the last general election.
Earlier this month backbencher Geraint Davies has the whip suspended after the party received reports of what is described as: "Incredibly serious allegations of completely unacceptable behaviour".
There had been allegations of sexual harassment by Davies made by a number of women.
Two formal complaints were subsequently submitted to Labour, including one by a sitting Labour MP.
Last year Starmer vowed a "zero-tolerance" approach when it came to complaints of misbehaviour.
It claim after Labour members expressed a lack of faith in the party to properly handle allegations of inappropriate behaviour.
