Sir Keir Starmer must open the North Sea and stop illegal immigration to get his premiership back on track, Donald Trump has told GB News.
The US President initially built up a close working relationship with the Prime Minister.
Mr Trump regularly expressed his personal liking for Sir Keir, even going as far as to describe the Labour leader as his "friend".
However, the pair appeared to fall out over foreign policy, including over Greenland and the Iran war.
When asked by GB News why Sir Keir had lost the support of the country, Mr Trump said: "His two biggest problems are energy and immigration.
"Those are his two big problems. He's should open up the North Sea immediately and get your energy running the right way and he's got to stop the illegal migration."
The Prime Minister consistently resists calls to expand exploration licences in the North Sea, instead insisting renewables will deliver lower energy prices.
Labour MPs defeated a Tory push to enable new drilling in the North Sea in March, with Mrs Badenoch losing the opposition motion by 297 votes to 108.

Labour's "one-in, one-out" deal has also come under scrutiny after the Home Office rejected a GB News information request on its costings.
However, the Home Office continues to insist that more than 60,000 illegal migrants have been removed since Sir Keir secured the keys to No10.
