Britain is “under attack” and its sovereignty is in jeopardy as a result of the Windsor Framework being passed through, according to Reform UK’s Ben Habib.
It comes as Rishi Sunak saw off Tory rebels over his new Brexit deal for Northern Ireland, with just 22 Conservative MPs defying a three line whip to vote against the Government.
Members including Boris Johnson and Liz Truss stood against regulations to implement a key plank of the Windsor Framework agreement.
The Stormont brake was ushered through Parliament comfortably by 515 votes to 28, with Labour and other opposition parties backing it.

Speaking on GB News, Ben Habib says the affair shows Britain is now “under attack” from the EU as it contends with “political weakness”.
He told Michelle Dewberry: “The EU issued a report in November 2017 declaring that the border could easily be managed on the island of Ireland using smart technology.
“Here’s the lie from the EU, they now claim they can make the border between Great Britain and the Northern Ireland invisible.
“Why not do the same on the island of Ireland which separates two countries and trade is one fifth of what it is between Britain and Northern Ireland.

PA“They choose to put the border down the Irish Sea because they want to defeat Brexit, they want to punish the United Kingdom, and in the pursuit of harmony with our belligerent neighbour, our Government has given in.
“It is political weakness that I have never seen in my life and all of us British citizens should be fighting this as a matter of principle.
“The UK is under attack, make no mistake of it, and our Parliament is complicit.”
Six DUP MPs also voted against the statutory instrument while more than 40 Conservative MPs abstained.
Some of these individuals, however, would have had permission to be away from Westminster.
A Government spokesman hailed the vote, saying it put power back in the hands of Stormont and Westminster, ending the “ratchet effect” of new EU law in Northern Ireland.
“The Windsor Framework is a turning point for the people of Northern Ireland, fixing the problems with the old protocol to ensure the smooth flow of internal UK trade, safeguard Northern Ireland’s place in the Union and address the democratic deficit,” the spokesman said.
Ben Habib recently unveiled his own political ambitions as part of Richard Tice's Reform Party.
The group announced they are planning to pit candidates against every Conservative MP at the next general election.
