GB News presenter Bev Turner has lifted the lid on how Donald Trump thinks the historic US-EU trade deal will affect the UK.
Bev is in Glasgow after accompanying Trump on Air Force One during his four-day trip to Scotland and was at the US President's golf course in Turnberry on Sunday.
It comes as Bev is preparing to launch a new late-night programme broadcasting from September in America.
After joining the press pack at Turnberry, Bev said media was able to witness negotiations between Trump and European Union President Ursula von der Leyen.
"They took some questions from the press. Donald Trump said he wasn't in a particularly good mood, so I asked him why," Bev said.
"I wondered if it was the golf, he said no, the golf had been beautiful.
"But I think he was just playing Ursula von der Leyen a little because he was clearly about to go into negotiations and didn't want her to think he was in a good mood beforehand."
Bev said the press were only outside for "maybe an hour, maybe ... a little less" before everyone rushed back inside.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
Then "the deal was done".
"The press was called back into the ballroom, and we heard that they'd done the biggest trade deal in history worth hundreds of billions of dollars," Bev said.
"Hundreds of billions of euros. Both sides, of course, claiming this as a triumph."
Bev said she asked Trump "what it will mean for the UK?" ahead of his meeting with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Monday.
"Is there any good news for the UK and particularly when businesses are struggling in this country? Small businesses. What should the Prime Minister do to help our small businesses?," Bev said.
"And he said that he thought the UK would get a lot out of the trade deal between the EU and America.
"It's a bit difficult at this stage to work out what that could mean, but tomorrow is another day and I will be bringing you all the highlights that I can throughout the day, as the president meets our very own Prime Minister."
The Late show Live programme will broadcast nightly from the United States, with Bev at the helm bringing British viewers closer to American political developments.
