Angela Rayner has forked out over £700,000 to purchase a luxury seaside apartment, marking her third property to her housing portfolio.
The Deputy Prime Minister bought the flat near Brighton despite owning a home in Ashton-under-Lyne and having a grace-and-favour ministerial apartment in Westminster.
Ms Rayner bought the three-bedroom flat for more than £700,000, while owning a property in her constituency, which has increased in value by £275,000 in the last decade.

It comes as the Housing Secretary has been seen floating around in an inflatable kayak while on her summer break.
Shadow Housing Secretary James Cleverly said: "Angela Rayner is responsible for housing policy, yet she won't even be straight about her own.
"Time and again she's been asked to declare exactly what properties she owns and where she pays council tax, and time and again she has dodged those questions.
"Now we find out she's got three homes. We've done everything possible to get answers, but she still refuses to come clean."

Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner has forked out £700,000 on a third home
| PAMr Cleverly stated that Ms Rayner has "hiked taxes on family homes across the country" and is "prepared to be open about her own affairs while taxing everyone else heavily".
The Shadow Housing Secretary said: "The public will wonder what [Ms Rayner] has to hide."
The Deputy Prime Minister has already celebrated the purchase of her newest property by hosting a house-warming party with her partner, former MP Sam Tarry.
Locals say they have seen officers from the Met Police's Royalty and Specialist Protection Command accompanying Ms Rayner.
Estate agents have described the street where Ms Rayner lives a "highly desirable", with other properties nearby being put on the market for upwards of £3million.
The Housing Secretary has been spotted in the area, recently watching Mariah Carey perform at Brighton Pride.
Ms Rayner, moved into here grace-and-favour flat in December last year, which is paid for by the taxpayer.
It has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and looks over Trafalgar Square.

Ms Rayner has faced questions about the council tax she pays on her Admiralty House home.
Both Sir Keir Starmer and Rachel Reeves confirmed they are paying full council tax on their Downing Street homes.
A source close to Ms Rayner explained: "Angela's work means she has often had to be in and around London for over a decade, but had always rented a flat for that purpose."
