As a proud American who cherishes our shared British inheritance, which fuelled the greatness of both our nations, the sight of Sadiq Khan transforming London into a crime-plagued, overtaxed, woke quagmire enrages me from across the Atlantic.
I stand firmly with Donald Trump and true British patriots. I have watched in horror as Khan, this arrogant Labour apparatchik, presides over the slow-motion destruction of one of the greatest cities the world has ever known. Khan's latest outburst of delusional grandeur came in his December 2025 Financial Times interview, where he claimed Donald Trump attacks London because he remains jealous of its "diverse, progressive, liberal and multicultural" triumph.
Sorry, “jealousy” is the last thing Trump feels for the diverse, violent cesspool Khan has turned London into.
This pathetic accusation reveals nothing but desperate deflection from a Mayor who has botched the capital for nine disastrous years while nursing an obsessive grudge against my president.
Khan's jealousy rant exposes his own bitter resentment toward genuine strong leadership. His policies have plunged London into a toxic mix of persistent crime problems, crippling taxes, and shameless cultural capitulation.

Khan smugly declares London the perfect "antithesis" of Trump's principles. He insists the city stands safer than any American metropolis and thrives so spectacularly that Trump envies it because the United States supposedly lacks any global city capable of competing.
Khan projects his own petty bitterness onto a man who has achieved far more than he ever will. Trump branded him a "terrible mayor" years ago – and every passing month has vindicated Trump with fresh evidence of failure.
Americans witnessed Trump's "America First" agenda restore safety, prosperity, and national pride after years of neglect by the Democrats.
Khan's London embodies the exact opposite: unchecked mass migration, soft-on-crime ideology, and endless virtue-signalling that masks decay.
It mirrors the urban chaos of pre-Trump Democrat strongholds like Chicago, San Francisco, and New York under progressive rule. Trump's accurate warnings about London's knife crime problems and emerging lawless zones have left Khan seething for years, prompting this latest absurd jealousy charge as his only comeback.
Knife crime remains a stubborn disgrace under Khan's watch since he took office in 2016 – higher than pre-Khan levels despite recent fluctuations.
Gangs dominate entire neighbourhoods in parts of the city, phone thefts plague the streets at epidemic rates, and violent robberies have scarred communities. London still tops England and Wales for knife offences by a wide margin.
Even with 2025's declines in homicides – the lowest in years – teenage stabbings and street robberies persist as an unacceptable shame for a world-class capital.
Khan bears full personal responsibility for this ongoing bloodshed. His woke rebranding of violence as a "public health issue," his ineffective policing priorities, and his repeated tolerance of extremist rhetoric have empowered criminals and emboldened thugs.
Trump crushed similar crime waves through decisive action and zero-tolerance policies. Khan enables and excuses them. From across the ocean, Khan looks like Britain's own Joe Biden – only more sanctimonious and infinitely worse at the job.
Khan's reviled ULEZ expansion functions as nothing more than a punitive tax raid on ordinary motorists. It slaps £12.50 daily charges on drivers, hitting the poorest families hardest for questionable environmental gains while Khan himself jets around the globe preaching his green dogma.
Congestion charges have soared to £18 from January 2026, and ruthless enforcers seize vehicles from those who fall behind on payments – raw, unapologetic authoritarian greed dressed up as climate virtue.
Khan proclaims his version of diversity enriches London and drives its supposed success. In reality, it serves as cover for uncontrolled mass immigration, weekly hate-filled marches through the streets, and decades of ignored grooming gang scandals.
London's persistently high antisemitic incidents in 2025 – among the worst on record – expose the dark underside of Khan's boasted multiculturalism, with Jewish communities living in fear amid surging hatred.
Khan's effusive public congratulations to New York's radical new Muslim mayor, Zohran Mamdani, further expose his true sympathies.
Mamdani revoked measures adopting the IHRA definition of antisemitism and prioritised far-left ideology over robust protections – exactly the playbook Khan follows in London.
As an observer watching from America, I express what many ordinary Britons already know in their hearts: Khan despises Britain's historic legacy, deliberately foments division, and nurses deep resentment toward patriotic leaders like Trump who always put their own citizens first.
London deserves far better than this failed, posturing little tyrant. The city must expel Khan at the earliest opportunity before he drags it irreversibly into third-world irrelevance.
Trump harbours no envy whatsoever for Khan's ruined London. He harbours only revulsion at the betrayal of a once-great city. So do I.
