Vladimir Putin has installed £1billion-valued air defences around the remote Russian palace where he is said to be hiding out with his "secret lover" and their sons.
The Valdai fortress - where the Russian leader has hunkered down since invading Ukraine - is now protected by 27 modern air defence system emplacements, Radio Liberty has reported.
After Mr Putin claimed Kyiv had targeted the palace four months ago, at least eight new defence towers around the property have been erected.
The Russian strongman is said to be sharing the luxury hideaway with alleged secret lover Alina Kabaeva, 42, and two sons - Ivan and Vladimir.

After Ukraine attacked buildings in the Novgorod region - where the property is based - Mr Putin told Donald Trump that Ukraine was attempting to harm his family.
However, the claims were found to be false, according to Western intelligence reports.
After Ms Kabaeva allegedly refused to stay there, the panicked leader is said to have poured money into bolstering security around the property.
The majority of the 27 defence systems are believed to be Pantsir armaments - worth up to £16million each.

The Russian leader's relationship with Ms Kabaeva - a former Olympic gymnast - is said to have sparked up following his split with Svetlana Krivonogikh, another alleged secret mistress.
His two young sons are believed to have adopted the surname Spiridonov to avoid detection and they are educated by private tutors away from the usual school system.
According to an investigation by Russian independent media outlet Proekt, Mr Putin's remote palace is equipped with "a huge spa complex with a solarium, a cryo chamber, a 25-metre swimming pool, a hammam, a sauna, a mud room, massage baths, cosmetology and dentistry areas.”
It is also said to have its very own private hospital and a nuclear bunker.

Proekt reported that there is a “constant presence of children" at the luxury fortress.
“In the summers of 2020 and 2021, a small karting track was set up on the site of the former helipads," the outlet reports.
“And right next to the residence, a large children’s playground in yellow and blue was erected deep in the woods between 2016 and 2020.”
The investigation also claims the Russian leader travels to the isolated property via his own "personal armoured train".
“For this reason, a secret, guarded station was built near his residence,” the outlet reported.
