“I remember that”, said President Zelensky, to which the reporter responded: “You look wonderful.”
President Zelensky then took the opportunist to point fun at the reporter, saying he is “wearing the same suit”.
The Ukrainian leader opted for a ‘military-style’ suit this time around after his appearance sparked controversy during his last White House visit.

Glenn, who works for a MAGA-friendly network, grilled the Ukrainian President about his fashion choice last time around.
“Why don’t you wear a suit?”, he asked.
“You’re at the highest level in this country’s office, and you refuse to wear a suit.”
The Ukrainian leader responded: “I will wear costume after this war finishes, yes.
“Maybe something like yours, maybe something better.”
The niceties this time around soon faded as Glenn had a more serious question to ask about President Zelensky’s mandate in his native Ukraine.
The Ukrainian has faced questions stateside about elections in his native country which have not been held since 2019.
Another vote does not appear to be forthcoming given the ongoing war, but President Zelensky said he would be open to elections, if safe.
“We need to work in parliament because during the war you can’t have elections”, he said.
He added it needed to be possible for people to have a democratic, open and legal election.
