Donald Trump's son Eric has defended his father saying he "has done absolutely nothing wrong" amid his legal battles.
Speaking on GB News, Eric claims the charges against his father are "nonsense" and "the entire country is laughing" at the indictments.
It comes after Trump announced he would not be attending the first Republican presidential debate.
Discussing Trump's charges, Eric told Nigel Farage: "Trump is going to do what he does best and he's going to multi-task and do what he had to do every single day during the four years of his presidency.
"Believe me, you only go after your enemies, if my father wasn't leading by 50 or 60 points for the Republican party, they wouldn't be going after him.
"These trials, the charges, they are nonsense, it's hard to believe the entire country is laughing at the stuff, everyone knows exactly what it is - it's the weaponisation of government."
It comes after Trump and 18 others were charged by a Georgia jury for alleged attempts to overturn the election in the state.
The former US president now faces criminal charges in Florida, Georgia, New York and Washington, DC.
Eric added that his father will continue to "fight these people to the very end" because "they don't want to see Donald Trump as president".
"They want to deprive him of time, they want to deprive him of resources, they want to deprive him of of money and if nothing else, slander him.
"Even if they don't get their ultimate victory, which I don't think they will, because my father has done absolutely nothing wrong and he's hell bent on fighting these people all the way to the very end.
"But they're trying to do exactly that because they don't want to see Donald Trump as president and they will do anything they can."
The first Republican presidential primary debate will take place on 23 August, however Trump will not be attending after one new poll showed he had "legendary" numbers ahead of other candidates.
Polls have consistently shown that Trump is currently the front-runner for the Republican nomination.
His son added: "My father's winning the Republican nomination in the United States by 50, 55, 60 per cent In some polls, the next person isn't even close.
"The point of having debates is you can actually learn candidates and get to understand their positions. I think my father's been probably the most outspoken person in the entire world over the last not just four years, but over the last seven years.
"People know exactly who Donald Trump is, they know exactly what he stands for. They know exactly what he's done and will do because he's they've seen him do it before.
"I'm not exactly sure if Donald Trump needs to introduce himself to anybody."
