Will Smith’s son has defended his dad’s actions after the actor controversially slapped Chris Rock midway through the Oscars ceremony on Sunday.
In now-deleted tweets, Jaden seemingly backed his dad after Rock made comments about his mum, Jada Pinkett Smith.
Accompanied with a selfie of him wearing sunglasses, Jaden posted: "My dad's speech made me cry."
He went on to say: "And that's how we do it."

His remarks came after Rock, during a section of the show where he roasted nominees, said towards Smith's wife: "Jada, I love you. G.I. Jane II, can't wait to see it."
That prompted Smith to react by running onto the stage.
While many people thought the episode was staged, Rock reacted by saying: “Oh, wow! Wow! Will Smith just smacked the **** out of me."
Rock added: "Wow, dude. It was a G.I. Jane joke," referencing the 1997 film "G.I. Jane" in which actress Demi Moore shaved her head.
Smith then returned to his seat before shouting out: "Keep my wife's name out of your ******* mouth,” to which Rock replied: "I'm going to. That's the greatest night in the history of television."
Jada Pinkett Smith has previously opened up about her battle with alopecia, an autoimmune disorder which can cause hair loss and balding.
Smith later apologised for his actions during a tearful speech after being crowned Best Actor at the Los Angeles awards ceremony.
He said: “I want to apologise to The Academy, I want to apologise to all my fellow nominees. This is a beautiful moment.”
