Joe Biden is embroiled in a row over funding

vThere is no military path to victory for Ukraine with Russia growing in strength, a military expert has claimed.

Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis joined Patrick Christys to discuss the US’s funding for Ukraine, arguing ramped up efforts are unlikely to drive Russia out.

Joe Biden has repeatedly called on Congress to approve new funding for the war-stricken nation, warning its ability to help is “rapidly coming to an end”.

The Democrat US president is embroiled in a row with some Republicans who want tougher security measures at the US-Mexico border in exchange for additional Ukraine support.

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy travelled to Washington DC earlier in the month in a bid to shore up support.

The US has already provided more than $111bn to Ukraine since Russia launched its invasion of the country more than 21 months ago, but current support is due to run out in weeks.

Biden said the US would continue to back Kyiv “as long as we can”, announcing a $200m support package earlier in the month.

He said: "But without supplemental funding, we're rapidly coming to an end of our ability to help Ukraine respond to the urgent operational demands that it has...
