Donald Trump has played down the significance of newly released photos from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate that were made public by Democratic House members and include the US President.
Democratic US lawmakers released two new batches of photos from Epstein's estate on Friday, with former Prince, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, and British billionaire Sir Richard Branson among other high-profile names included. The photos do not imply any wrongdoing.
President Trump appeared in three of the photos released.
In one, he can be seen with his arm around five women whose faces have been redacted. House Democrats did not say who the women were or when the photo was taken.

He can also be seen sitting next to another woman, whose face has also been redacted, on a jet, while a third showed the President standing next to Epstein and talking to model Ingrid Seynhaeve at a 1997 Victoria's Secret party in New York. This image was already publicly available.
Mr Trump was asked about the newly released images at an Oval Office ceremony to honour veteran Ice Hockey players on Friday, which started two and a half hours later than planned.
"I haven't seen them," he said. "But I mean, everybody knew this man. He was all over Palm Beach, he had photos with everybody.

"Almost hundreds and hundreds of people are in photos with him. That's no big deal. I know nothing about it."
Representative Robert Garcia, the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, did not say whether any of the women in the photos was a victim of abuse, but said, "Our commitment from day one has been to redact any photo, any information that could lead to any sort of harm to any of the victims."

In a statement, Mr Garcia said: "It is time to end this White House cover-up and bring justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends.
"These disturbing photos raise even more questions about Epstein and his relationships with some of the most powerful men in the world. We will not rest until the American people get the truth. The Department of Justice must release all the files, NOW."
A spokesman for the Republican-controlled House Oversight Committee accused Mr Garcia of "cherry-picking photos and making targeted redactions to create a false narrative about President Trump," while the White House called the release a "Democrat hoax" that has been "repeatedly debunked".
Some photos did not include the President himself, but showed illustrations appearing to be Mr Trump, with a sign reading "Trump Condoms".

The President has consistently stated he had a falling out with Epstein in the early 2000s, years prior to his 2008 conviction, saying: "For years I wouldn’t talk to Jeffrey Epstein."
The disgraced financier was found dead in his cell at a federal jail in Manhattan, New York, in August 2019 while he awaited trial on sex trafficking charges. His death was ruled a suicide.
