A Republican spokeswoman has declared her "full confidence" in the FBI finding the suspected killer of Charlie Kirk, warning that he "won't be on the run for long".
Speaking to GB News, Sarah Elliott from Republicans Overseas said the murder of the conservative activist has been "earthshaking" for republicans across America and the world.
The FBI has offered a $100,000 reward in exchange for information on the suspect, releasing images and CCTV footage of him fleeing the scene of the shooting.
Charlie Kirk's body has since been flown to his home state of Arizona on Air Force 2, where Vice President JD Vance helped carry the casket.

Speaking to GB News about the newly released images and footage of the suspect, Mrs Elliott said: "The population is much larger, and the space and size and scope of that university is quite large, there's many different ways to escape and manoeuvre.
"But I have full confidence in the FBI that they will find this person. He is on the run, but he's not on the run for long, and it will be a great day for justice when he is caught."
Asked by host Miriam Cates how the death of Charlie Kirk has impacted republicans, she stated: "Oh my gosh, it's been earthshaking. The way he brought so many people into politics, particularly young people, he motivated and inspired, he made politics accessible and clear and understandable to people.
"He also gave permission to debate ideas. He was the free speech warrior, and what I have found so impressive is just how large and international his reach was."

Highlighting the global impact Mr Kirk had in his political activism, Mrs Elliott recalled speaking to people in the UK who had been affected by his death.
She explained: "Yesterday I was in the hairdresser and two of the hairdressers in their 40s and 50s followed him and were really heartbroken over it, and that's here in the UK.
"Vigils were in Madrid, I had a school mum today say her teenage daughter said everybody knows about this and has been talking about this, and this is in a UK secondary school."
Paying her own tribute to Mr Kirk, the Republican Overseas spokesperson told GB News that his legacy will "create more Charlie Kirks" across the world.

Mrs Elliott concluded: "He just had this way of connecting with people, engaging the youth. And he wasn't afraid.
"He would talk to anybody, if he disagreed with you, it didn't matter, let's talk about it. Let's have a civil, respectful discussion. That is his legacy, and I think he will create many more Charlie Kirks in the world now after the fact."
The Chief of Utah's Department of Public Safety, Beau Mason, has said they "have no idea" if the suspect is still in the state.
He said: "We have no idea. We're exploring leads for individuals out of state and individuals that live close by. We literally have persons of interest tips coming in on the tip line that are spanning far and wide."
