Students at a Washington DC university have been left terrified after a left-wing gun club plastered up posters glorifying slain activist Charlie Kirk's death.
Georgetown University's John Brown Gun Club, a "far-left" group named after the militant abolitionist, hung scores of blood-red posters across the institution this week.
Some of the flyers appear to compare Mr Kirk, hailed as a "martyr" by the President, to Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini.
They show an image of the 31-year-old conservative debater with his eyes blurred out alongside the text "follow your leader".

Below, the words "rest in p***, Charlie" can be seen, alongside a QR code urging students to sign up to the gun club.
Further posters read: "Hey, fascist! Catch!" in reference to inscriptions on unfired bullets found inside his alleged killer's gun.
Now, students have revealed how the ominous posters have left them scared for their lives.
"My first emotion was fear," one, Jordan van Slingerland told Fox News. "What happened to Charlie Kirk hit myself, and, of course, many of my friends on this campus very hard.

"Seeing the text that was on the bullet of the assassin that had taken his life, certainly, was a bit scary."
Another, Rowan O'Sullivan, vowed: "I would love to see the university distinguish itself from other elite universities in the United States, which have all completely succumbed to leftism and have rotted from the inside out."
Even college Democrats have come out to condemn the flyers.
Cash Moore said: "The first thing I thought was a little disappointment that some people, perhaps on this campus, hold that violence is something that is productive in society."

Then, the White House said: "This despicable act at Georgetown underscores just how mainstream political violence has become on the left, and why Charlie Kirk's work on college campuses was so important."
Education Secretary Linda McMahon added that the posters were "appalling".
Father-of-two Mr Kirk was killed at Utah Valley University on September 10 while debating college students.
His death sparked an international outcry - and severe warnings over soaring violence among the left.
And the John Brown Gun Club itself boasts links to violent protest.
As well as namesake Mr Brown's belief that violent uprising was required to overthrow slavery, the club is labelled a "far-left group" by the Centre for Counter Extremism.
There are numerous branches of the group across the US - and the group is opposed the police and law enforcement, which it considers systemic oppressors.
The club also has a dark history of joining left-wing events and protests armed with guns.
Some suspected members were arrested in July after allegedly launching fireworks at a Texas immigration centre before unloading bullets at workers and police.
Footage later emerged of a campus official removing the offending imagery.
"The flyers have been removed, and the university is investigating this incident and working to ensure the safety of our community," the university said in a statement.
