Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will give an “historic address” to British lawmakers on Tuesday in his first address to UK parliament.
The address will take place via video link at 17:00 GMT, House of Commons speaker Lindsay Hoyle said in a statement.
The statement added: "Every parliamentarian wants to hear directly from the President, who will be speaking to us live from Ukraine, so this is an important opportunity for the House.
“Thanks again to our incredible staff for working at pace to make this historic address possible.”
MPs will be able to watch the speech on newly-installed screens either side of the chamber, with more than 500 headsets to be made available to enable ministers an English translation, the Commons said.
There will be no questions to Mr Zelenskyy at the end of the address.
Mr Zelenskyy has been urging Ukrainian allies to do more to help defend his country, while he could once again urge for a no-fly zone as the Russian attack enters a twelfth day.
Meanwhile, a third round of talks between the two parties have failed to find a ceasefire agreement.
Speaking after the latest round of discussions, Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to President Volodymyr Zelensky said “there were some small positive shifts regarding logistics of humanitarian corridors”.
Russia’s top negotiator Vladimir Medinsky added: “Our expectations from the talks have failed, but we hope that we would be able to make a more significant step forward next time. The talks will continue.”
