A notorious traveller family branded the "holidaymakers from hell" have been forced to pack up their belongings after losing a planning war in rural Lincolnshire.
Patrick Doran and his wife Barbara bought Stickney Showground, near Boston, and began illegally developing a three-acre grazing field into a gated fortress.
Nearby to the site, locals have accused the travellers of several threatening and anti-social acts.
The Dorans allegedly let their Belgian Malinois guard dogs roam wild, light giant bonfires and made gun threats to a lollipop lady after she photographed Mr Doran's car parked on double yellow lines.
Mr Doran has been trying to reinvent himself under the alias "Alan Gray", after sparking outrage in Worcestershire, where locals said he demanded a six-figure sum to leave or face years of threats.
The father of four describes himself as an Irish traveller and has denied all of the claims.
In 2023, Lincolnshire Police confirmed they had received the complaints, with a council source stating: "All the hardstanding he's put down means water runs off his land and causes flooding. There is also a septic tank, which leaks into a ditch outside".
This year, East Lindsay District Council refused permission for Mr Doran to open a gypsy and traveller site with space for up to 30 static and touring caravans, a toilet and wash block and a dayroom building.

An enforcement notice then followed, ordering the demolition of structures built without permission.
Mr Doran appealed, saying he had a right to settle there with his family, pointing out the country's lack of traveller sites.
This month, the planning board sided with the council, deeming the camp dangerous to life due to the site's flood-risk location.
Alongside the Collins family, the Dorans now have 12 months to leave and 15 months to return the site to its original state.
One of the family members complained that they are "the most hated people on earth", adding that the council "think they can sweep us under the carpet".
She told the Daily Mail: "I am just a family member, so it's nothing to do with me.
"The council have said it's at risk of flooding, that's why they refused it [Alan Gray's appeal against the enforcement notice] and they want us off.
"For the love of God. The caravans are not going to float away. I know about these things. All you do is build the ground higher. They helped the woman next door do her house. The council spent money on that."

Another man, associated with the site, said the travellers "want to live a peaceful life", but then threatened a reporter if they reported on the site or returned.
The Dorans were branded as "trash" and "worse than pigs" by the mayor of Auckland before they were deported from New Zealand in 2019.
Their trip abroad had become chaotic as locals and tourists complained of drunken behaviour, unpaid restaurant bills and numerous thefts.
The family, which was accused of putting ants in their food to avoid having to pay, describes the allegations as "lies".
