Trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney, whose partnership with Bud Light sparked nationwide backlash and sent sales of the beer plummeting, has been cast in a popular Broadway musical.
The social media personality will make her Broadway debut as Anne Boleyn, the second wife of King Henry VIII, in the medieval theatre play "Six".
Ms Mulvaney will join the production, which has long positioned itself as a female-centred group.
The show announced the trans influencer's role on social media, saying: "Losing our heads to introduce your newest Anne Boleyn!"
The post continued: "Show some royal love to Queen Dylan Mulvaney, who will be joining the #SIXBroadway 5.0 cast as Anne Boleyn."
Six interpretations of Henry VIII's wives reclaim their identities through musical numbers.
The show's material described the wives as journeying out from "the shadow of their infamous spouse".
It focuses on the group of six celebrating women's voices through "21st-century girl power".

She wrote: "Yay Broadway! So happy my bway debut is playing a fellow polarising woman in this perfect musical next month. I hope you will all come watch me live my dream. I am so happy I can't stop smiling."

Ms Mulvaney will star in the production from February
|Appearing on The View in March 2025, Ms Mulvaney said she accepted the partnership casually.
"I loved beer and didn't think anything of it," the trans influencer shared.
