Thousands of people in the UK are to receive a payment worth £200 within the coming days.
The money is expected to soon land in people’s bank accounts as the cost-of-living crisis continues to bite.
Some households in Doncaster, who have already reached out for financial support through the Household Support Fund, are to receive the payment.
While those who are not expected to receive the bonus but are struggling financially are being urged to apply.

People who are eligible include those on housing benefit, Universal Credit and on council tax reductions.
Doncaster Council has said the £200 will be paid into bank accounts by July 8.
The money is part of the £500million cash fund that has been distributed to local councils across the country.
Some councils are handing out the money through bank payments, while others are sending it through supermarket vouchers.
Households in Rotherham can apply for bonuses of up to £400, while people those in North Yorkshire are being given £150 in the form of supermarket vouchers
