A fleet of British and American F-35 stealth jets was due to accompany the RAF's Red Arrows in a historic military flypast before the cancellation.
The military display aimed to showcase the longstanding alliance between the UK and US.
The flypast is scheduled to arrive over Windsor Castle at around 4.45pm.
Similar shows take place at major royal occasions, including Trooping the Colour and at King Charles's Coronation in 2023.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
The US leader has still experienced military ceremonies, including gun salutes, a carriage procession and a special Beating Retreat performance.
The Red Arrows will set off from RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire, where the aircraft are based, before flying over parts of Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire.
They will continue their route over Heathrow Airport and Windsor, being visible from the streets of the capital.

President Trump and Melania Trump have laid a wreath at Queen Elizabeth II’s tomb this afternoon.

On Thursday, President Trump will meet with Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
He will witness an air display by the British Army's Red Devils Parachute Display Team and a performance by two RAF pipers at Chequers.
