Members of the Royal Family appeared on the Buckingham Palace balcony yesterday afternoon, marking the conclusion of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Prince George was pictured leaning into hear his great-grandmother, the Queen, as vast crowds gathered below cheered.
Professional lip reader John Cassidy said Her Majesty appeared surprised as she stepped out onto the balcony to hear a rendition of God Save the Queen.
Upon the conclusion of the national anthem, red, white and blue smoke erupted over crowds gathered at the palace.

Mr Cassidy told the Mirror that, following the spectacle, the Queen smiled and turned to Prince George, saying: "Ah, brilliant.
"I didn't know..."
Refraining from participating in various Jubilee celebrations after experiencing "discomfort" at Trooping the Colour, Her Majesty wowed crowds by making a surprise appearance on the balcony.
The Queen, was accompanied by her son Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall and the Cambridges, for a three-minute appearance.

Crowds gathered below sang the national anthem, evidently moving the Queen, as she was pictured briefly biting her lip as she gazed over crowds.
Around an hour-and-a-half after appearing on the balcony, the Queen released a statement adding she had been "humbled" by celebrations marking her 70-year reign and was "committed to serving you to the best of my ability".
Her Majesty looked at ease on the balcony as she leaned on her stick, now a routine aid following her mobility issues.
The national anthem was then played, as celebrities including Sir David Jason, Harry Redknapp, Sir Cliff Richard, Sandie Shaw and Felicity Kendal joined in a mass rendition of God Save The Queen.
Platinum Jubilee celebrations concluded yesterday following a Platinum Pageant which told the story of the Queen's 70-year reign.
Over 10,000 people, including 6,000 performers and an array of stars, took part in the 3km pageant from the Palace of Westminster, along Whitehall to Admiralty Arch and down The Mall to Buckingham Palace and then finally onto St James's Park.
The Royal Family took to the limelight for one final time to witness the pageant which combined street arts, theatre, music, circus, carnival and costume.
