Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were whisked back to Windsor following the Service of Thanksgiving, after they received a frosty reception from royal fans.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex refrained from joining members of the Royal Family at a reception at the Guildhall, as they were pictured in the second row of St Paul's Cathedral, across the aisle from the Cambridges.
In their first public appearance of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations, the couple faced a booing crowd upon entering and exiting the Cathedral.
The couple rejected the chance to accompany family members at London's Guildhall, where politicians and members of the congregation gathered for a meal following the service.

A source said the couple were keeping to "themselves and their promise that they wouldn't overshadow the celebrations".
A Palace aide reportedly told The Sun: “Harry and Meghan were happy to swing by Clarence House to see Charles on the way to St Paul’s.
"But afterwards they were less keen to spend time hobnobbing with the family at the reception where they would rub shoulders with William and Kate.”
The couple were forced to clamber over Princess Beatrice, 33 and her husband Edo Mapelli Mozzi, 38, and Princess Eugenie and Jack, to reach their seats.

The Queen pulled out of the thanksgiving service, after experiencing "discomfort" at the parade at Buckingham Palace on Thursday.
The decision was made with "great reluctance" after pondering on the "journey and activity required", the Palace reported.
The couple's daughter Lilibet celebrates her first birthday this weekend, with news emerging that the Queen finally met her granddaughter at Windsor Palace.
