Nicola Bulley vanished while walking her dog in St Michaels on Wyre, Lancashire on January 27 and so far her disappearance has drawn more questions than answers.
The 45-year-old was last seen walking her brown spaniel Willow near the River Wyre.
Despite extensive searches, police have found no trace of Nicola and maintain their belief that she fell into the river.
Chief executive of Specialist Group International, Peter Faulding assisted police in a search of the river but insists that the mum did not end up in the water.
Officers have received 1,500 pieces of information regarding Nicola’s disappearance and a team of nearly 40 detectives have been looking through hundreds of hours of CCTV, dashcam footage and tip-offs from the public.
There are several unanswered questions that police don’t have the answer to.

Did Nicola fall into the river?
Lancashire police are still working towards the hypnosis that Nicola fell into the River Wyre.
However, there has not been any evidence to support this theory following extensive land and water searches.
Why was Nicola’s dog “bone dry”?
The family’s springer spaniel Willow was found “bone dry” and “agitated” near to the bench where Nicola’s phone was found.
Previously, police suggested that Nicola may have entered the water to help her dog or accidentally fell in.
But experts have questioned why the dog was dry if the mum had gone into the water to help.
Where are Nicola’s car keys?
It is understood that Nicola was in possession of Mercedes car keys on the day she went missing but so far, they haven’t been found.
Her partner Paul Ansell has reached out to the company to ask if they can trace them.
People in the local area have also been out looking for them, some with metal detectors.
Who is the owner of the red van?
A “tatty-looking red van” was reported to police near to where Nicola went missing but police say they are still attempting to track down the owner.
They do not believe it to be “suspicious”.

Why was her phone left on a bench?
Officers cannot say why Nicola’s phone was left on a bench, which was still connected to a work call that finished at 9.30am.
A dog walker then found the phone along with her dog Willow at around 9.35am.
Peter Faulding, a forensic search expert previously said the phone couldn’t been left “as a decoy”.
Why did her Fitbit watch not track where she went?
Nicola was wearing a Fitbit watch on the day she vanished, but officers say it hadn’t been synced for several days so it would not track her movements.
