A trainee surgeon has been handed a 15-month ban after a series of social media posts a tribunal panel deemed were antisemitic and pro-terrorism.
The Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service imposed the suspension on Dr Rahmeh Aladwan, 31, while the General Medical Council carries out a comprehensive probe into her conduct.
Her extended suspension was necessary "after balancing the risk to the protection of the public, the public interest and the interests of the doctor", the panel said.
GMC legal representative Emma Gilsenan had requested the suspension based on Dr Aladwan's posts about "Jewish supremacy", compared Israelis to Nazis, and characterised Hamas terrorists as "oppressed resistance fighters, not terrorists".
Ms Gilsenan presented the doctor's posts which claimed female Israeli hostages were "falling in love with resistance fighters" because it was "the first time they have seen real men".
Further posts labelled Israel supporters "genocidal", stating: "That includes 90 per cent of Jews on Earth."
One post declared: "I don't condemn Hamas. I don't condemn October 7. I don't condemn armed resistance to occupation. I condemn the state of Israel."
Dr Aladwan marked the two-year anniversary of the October 7 Hamas massacre as "the day Israel was humiliated".

The doctor then vowed she would "never condemn the October 7" and claimed the number of "proven rapes on October 7 is zero".
Evidence suggests rapes took place at the Nova music festival, where Hamas terorrists killed more than 1,000 people.
A UN report confirmed Hamas attackers raped women's corpses.
She also called Britain's Chief Rabbi Sir Ephraim Mirvis "Rabbi Genocide" and described the Royal Free Hospital as a "Jewish supremacy cesspit".
Despite her outbursts, she was allowed to continue treating NHS patients.

| PAThe tribunal found a "high risk of repetition" given the extended timeframe of Dr Aladwan's posts and said "the nature of the media posts are alleged to be of the utmost seriousness and may have a real and serious impact on public confidence in the profession, if they are later found proved".
The GMC retains the option to pursue the doctor's complete removal from the medical register depending on the outcome of its probe.
Wednesday's Manchester hearing marked the second occasion the MPTS had looked into the British-Palestinian physician.
A September fitness-to-practise tribunal declined to suspend her - even though evidence showed she had made "slit your throat" gestures towards Jews and described the Holocaust as "a fabricated victim narrative".

That panel determined the allegations were not "sufficient to establish that there may be a real risk to patients" and cited her "right to freedom of expression".
Health Secretary Wes Streeting responded by declaring he had "no confidence in our regulation system" and blasted that her "sickening comments" had no place in the NHS.
Dr Aladwan's counsel, Kevin Saunders, earlier failed to stop proceedings after claiming there was an "abuse of process" by the GMC and "apparent bias" by the tribunal panel.
He claimed his client had an "impeccable" medical record and was a victim of "genocide" and dispossession.
He went on to add that "lobbyists" had wielded "lawfare" against Dr Aladwan because of "clamour and intrinsic pressure".
