Martin Daubney has hit out at London Mayor Sadiq Khan for the capital's security chaos on New Year's Eve, branding it an "utter calamity".
Arriving late for his GB News show, the People's Channel star revealed it was almost impossible to get to the Westminster studio, due to the barricading ahead of tonight's celebrations.
Many areas of the capital have been fenced off due to security concerns, including the popular firework viewing spot Primrose Hill.
Welcoming Martin to his show, Tom Harwood quipped: "The whole of Westminster has been shut down for the fireworks display, so Martin has been stuck in traffic.

"Martin has battled his way through the barriers, and you've made it into the heart of Westminster, the very bunker at the centre of all of this!"
Airing his fury, Martin raged: "It's just unbelievable that all of the area around Westminster is closed.
"We've become a nation of clipboards. No one's got a bloomin' clue what's going on, there's 10,000 high vis vests - no one knows what the plan is!"
Criticising the extensive measures put in place, Martin said: "They've closed London off for the entire day. Everyone's turning the air blue hours before the fireworks.

"And Sadiq Khan's name is not being mentioned in kindness, because London is absolutely, chaotically gridlocked."
Taking aim at the London Mayor further, Martin told GB News viewers: "And this is for an event for tourists, where the Mayor of London is charging hundreds of pounds to watch the fireworks.
"He is closing parks in Primrose Hill too, you can't even watch them for free. You can't even walk into the area for free!"
He added: "Even if you work here like we do at GB News, it is utter calamity, and it's all down to the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan. Happy New Year, Sir Sadiq!

Thanking Tom and Nana for taking care of his show while he struggled through the Westminster traffic, Martin concluded: "And thank you, Tom and Nana, for taking care of the show and keeping me going."
In a statement, a spokesman for the Mayor of London has previously said: "Nothing is more important to the Mayor than keeping London safe, and he continues to lead the way by being tough on crime with a record £1.16billion in support for the police this year alone.
"And tough on the complex causes of crime through the country's first Violence Reduction Unit, which is leading an approach rooted in prevention and intervention."

Meanwhile, the Royal Parks charity, which oversees the closure of Primrose Hill for New Year's Eve, acknowledged the decision to shut the gates was "not taken lightly".
A spokesman for the organisation explained because the gathering was not a formally organised event, there were "limited controls that we can deploy to ensure public safety".
The move comes amid wider changes to policing in London after the Mayor scrapped the Royal Parks Police.
The gates to Primrose Hill will reopen at 6am on New Year’s Day.
