A National Lottery winner was "getting signs to play on that particular day" before scooping up the mega jackpot.
The woman, from Buckinghamshire, who has chosen to remain anonymous, won £1million in the National Lottery EuroMillions draw.
She revealed that she had been "getting signs to play on that particular day" and, after being tempted by the large jackpot on offer, she entered the online competition.
To her amazement, she found out that she had scooped up a life-changing total.
Speaking on her winnings, she said: "It feels amazing, not just for myself, but to be able to help other people too."
Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, offered a "massive congratulations" to the prize winner.
He said: "What a wonderful, transformative moment this is for our winner.
"The financial freedom that comes with winning such a huge amount makes such a difference. A massive congratulations."
