A shop assistant who sold a quarrelling couple a jackpot win scratch card says CCTV footage suggests the £1million winnings should be split 50/50.
Michael Cartildge and Charlotte Cox have been in a bitter dispute over whether the cash should be shared after the mum-of-one dumped him following the win.
A Nisa worker has now claimed that the shop’s CCTV shows Cartildge showing her his mobile - which backs his story that he tried to transfer cash to cover the scratch cards.
The shop assistant - based in Spalding, Lincolnshire - believes that the huge win should be shared.

"I’m on no one’s side. I like them both. But I honestly believe that the money should be both of theirs," she told The Sun.
"How can you live with yourself after robbing half a million? I know I couldn’t."
Cartildge, who is an engineer, believes he is entitled to half.
However, waitress Cox has rejected his claim he tried to send money as "rubbish" and has deemed herself the sole winner after dumping him.

Last October the couple entered the store and bought two £5 Dice Towers games.
The shop worker recalled seeing Cartildge attempting to send the cash to cover the purchase.
She said: "I joked, ‘You’ve not got the money!’ But he was like, ‘Yeah I have. It’s this bloody signal in here’. Then he held the phone up to her and it was the spinning wheel."

Operator of the National Lottery, Allwyn ruled that Cox was the rightful claimant as her name was on the back of the card.
Cartildge said he and Cox discussed buying a house with the winnings but was then kicked out three weeks later.
She previously said: "I bought the ticket. He didn’t transfer me the money."
