A National Lottery winner said his wife was "over the moon" after he scooped the jackpot.
The County Durham dad will receive £10,000 each month for an entire year after seeing victory in the National Lottery's Set For Life Draw.
The lucky winner, who did not want to be named, scooped the £120,000 prize after matching five numbers in a lucky dip game online in June.
The winner was initially confused after checking his account and noticing his balance remained unchanged despite the huge win.
"I was a little confused when my account balance hadn’t changed, then I read my messages and couldn’t believe I had won £10k every month for a year on a Lucky Dip ticket," he said, according to the Northern Echo.
"When I told my wife, she was over the moon!"
The lottery player's win is the second-best outcome possible in Set For Life.
The game's top prize sees £10,000 given monthly for 30 years to players who match all five main numbers plus the Life Ball.
