A fierce debate erupted on GB News as host Dr Renee Hoenderkamp challenged the treatment of migrants compared to struggling British families.
She highlighted the plight of her patient, a single mother raising two children in a mould-infested bedsit, asking: "What would you say to my patient, a single mother with two kids living in a bedsit full of mould and damp, who feels that migrants are getting a better deal than she is?"
The question comes as fresh Government statistics reveal that 32,059 individuals seeking asylum were residing in British hotels by June's end, marking an eight per cent increase from 29,585 during the same period last year under Conservative leadership.

Political commentator Andy Williams dismissed Renee, stating: "That is a ridiculous argument. They are away from their families."
However, fellow panellist Kane Blackwell pointed out: "They made the choice to leave."
Williams fumed in response: "In some cases, they didn’t, which is the whole point of asylum."
Blackwell stated: "They have crossed multiple countries to get to this country. That is a choice, Andy."
Williams the asked: "Would you just stick around in Afghanistan, Sudan, or other war-torn areas?"
Blackwell proceeded to point out: "But you go to the first safe country you can get to. And that is the point.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
"They have gone through many safe countries. They are not asylum seekers, they are economic migrants. They want a better life for themselves. I don’t blame them. We have a great country.
"But the point is, we cannot take everyone, and we have to look after those already here.
"And Renee is right: when people are living in mould-infested houses or on the breadline, and we basically say, 'Sorry, you're at the back of the queue,' while someone who’s just arrived on a boat can see a doctor, it’s absolutely outrageous."
