Watch the moment a GB News star was left emotional while discussing a small boat migrant's violent attack on a 12-year-old girl.
This morning, asylum seeker Ahmad Mulakhil was handed 16 years behind bars after he raped a 12-year-old in a horrific attack which sparked furious protests in Nuneaton.
The Afghan national, 23, whose victim said he laughed during the attack, was sentenced after being found guilty of rape and two counts of sexual assault.
He was also convicted of child abduction and taking an indecent video of the girl during the ordeal near a residential cul-de-sac in Warwickshire.
Mulakhil arrived in the UK on a small boat just four months before he raped the girl. He will now spend 15 years in prison before being eligible for release on licence.
But the case left GB News star Martin Daubney tearing up, opening up on the show about how he fears for the safety of his own children.
"This is the case that just brings up so many emotions and I just find it really hard," he told the Pink Ladies founder, Lorraine Cavanagh, who joined him on the show to discuss the matter. "I really do - to get my head around this.
"My daughter is 12. She phoned me today from the playground. It's end of term. She said, 'daddy, what are you covering on your show today?'

The pair shared their desire to protect their children from the horrific crimes

"I couldn't tell her because I'm covering this... How many times does this need to happen?
"How many children need to have their lives destroyed by illegal immigrants abusing our hospitality here illegally at taxpayers' expense before the whole nation wakes up and we just declare this has got to stop."
In response, Ms Cavanagh shared insight into her personal life, with a granddaughter the same age as Martin's daughter.
The protester said: "She's still singing in her hairbrush to Taylor Swift. And her innocence will be taken away, if she went down to the street to go and get mum a loaf of bread and was taken."

But the protester soon turned her ire towards Labour for "not listening to anybody", adding: "If you open your mouth, then you'll get banged up yourself.
"Something has to be done because we are a tinderbox. All our little girls are just sitting around like little ducks waiting to be attacked.
"And it's not just the little girl's life that would be ruined. You say about your daughter - your life would be ruined.
"Your wife's life. The whole family. Because then it's your job to rebuild that confidence that has been taken away from her."
"It just makes my blood boil," she furiously exclaimed.
The guest went on to heap praise onto GB News for shining a light on the widespread issue, which has also fuelled protests up and down the nation.
She told Martin: "GB News is the best thing that happened because at least we know what's going on. It's the People's Channel. You tell us what's going on.
"On any other channel, it would be one line. He got 15 years and we wouldn't even know more."
Wrapping up the interview, Martin, visibly emotional, responded: "Please take this in the nicest way. I hope I don't have to speak to you again on this channel, but I think I'll be seeing you pretty soon."
