Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are looking to edit their docuseries with Netflix and delay its release "until next year" after the death of Queen Elizabeth II, according to sources.
The couple who now live in Montecito, California after stepping back from royal duties in 2020 are working on the show as part of their $100 million agreement with the streaming service.
According to Page Six, the production was set to be aired in December, after the release of the fifth season of The Crown.
The production was reportedly set to be aired in December.

However, sources have now told the publication that the couple now want to make edits to the series which could see it delayed until 2023.
The couple are reported to be looking to "downplay much of what they have said about King Charles III, Queen Consort Camilla, and the Prince and Princess of Wales".
One source said: "A lot of conversations are happening. I hear that Harry and Meghan want the series to be held until next year, they want to stall.
Harry's relationship with his brother remains in question.

"I wonder if the show could even be dead in the water at this point, do Harry and Meghan just want to shelve this thing?"
An insider from Netflix is also said to have claimed: "Netflix has been keen to have the show ready to stream for December. There’s a lot of pressure on (Netflix CEO) Ted Sarandos, who has the relationship with Harry and Meghan, to get this show finished."
It comes after the Duchess of Sussex was dubbed a "loose cannon" by a royal expert.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex departed their duties in acrimonious fashion in 2020, before making the move to Montecito in California, where they have had made numerous media appearances criticising the Royal Family.
Royal expert Jonathan Sacerdoti says The Firm have concerns over what may be to come next from the couple, as they try to "control" what members do in terms of publicity.
He told the Express: "I think the Royal Family does try to control what individual members of the family do in terms of publicity, I don't think that is news to anyone.
"And I think they did presumably try to control what Harry and Meghan did when they were within the family."
The lack of freedom afforded to the Duke and Duchess is a key reason behind their departure from royal duties, with the couple making their disdain over the situation known publicly in a series of interviews, such as one with Oprah Winfrey, which took place in March 2021.
"I think now that they have left as working royals and have left the country, they obviously have much less control over them," Sacerdoti continued.
"And so to the Royal Family, at least Meghan may be a loose cannon because she is somebody that will respect the rules and requests and preferences of the Royal Family only as far as she feels she should."
