Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have reportedly rejected the Queen's invitation to visit her in the UK over the summer.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex last visited the Queen during the Platinum Jubilee earlier this year, despite not appearing on the royal balcony.
And it was reported the pair would be leaving Montecito to join other members of the Royal Family at Balmoral.
A source at the castle said staff were preparing for their visit later this year, with their children Archie and Lilibet.

They told The Sun: "Staff have been told to expect the full list of royals including Harry, Meghan and their children.
"They are preparing for the Sussexes."
The Duchess of Cornwall could be negatively portrayed in Harry's memoir John Walton
But Page Six claimed multiple sources have told them the pair won't be accepting her majesty's invite to join her at her summer retreat.
It reports instead that Harry and Meghan will remain in the US until his tell-all memoir is released at the end of the year.
Members of the royal family fear the memoir will reveal their inner secrets, and be critical of Camilla, after her publicised affair with Prince Charles when he was married to Harry's mum, Princess Diana.
This also comes at time of the release of Tom Bower's book Revenge, which documents the Duke and Duchess' falling out with the royal family.
Mr Bower makes a number of claims about the behaviour of Meghan Markle, supporting claims she made Kate Middleton cry on her wedding day.
He also alleges the reason behind Meghan and Harry leaving the UK for LA was the actress not understanding why she wasn't more important.
