Dominic Moffitt made a fiery appearance on the People's Channel

Watch the moment Martin Daubney unleashed a vicious tirade upon a GB News guest who branded protesters at the Unite the Kingdom rally "racists".

The fiery debate came about from a discussion on an alliance of campaigners, unions and civil society groups, including the likes of Sir Lenny Henry and Paloma Faith, who are working together to dig their heels in against the rise of Reform UK.

They announced they will be building up momentum ahead of a major protest on Saturday, March 28.

Addressing political consultant Dominic Moffitt, Martin asked if the "left-wing luvvies", who are uniting to carry out a campaign against the "far right", are simply "blowing hot air".

But the GB News guest was left flabbergasted to hear that Mr Moffitt "absolutely celebrates the idea of people having enough conviction in politics to go out and say something on the streets".

"This is done in the face of the largest far right rally in the UK earlier this year with Tommy Robinson speaking, and I think that is to be applauded," the political consultant claimed.

The former English Defence League leader led a booming rally through the streets of London in September, attended by 110,000 and 150,000 protesters brandishing Union Jacks and St George's Crosses.

A counter-protest was led by Stand Up to Racism.

"It's a positive campaign to stand up against racism on the streets of the UK. I'm delighted to see it's happening," Mr Moffitt lauded.

"And if we see Reform doing well in May elections, which I think we would all expect them to, there will be a lot more of this conversation to come."

"But is it a positive thing to accuse everybody who you disagree with as being racist? It didn't work in America. It didn't work with Brexit," Martin hit back.

"And as you've already said, it probably won't work this time. In fact, it might turn white people against them."

"I am very comfortable, and I think a lot of people in most people in the UK would agree that people standing and marching with Tommy Robinson are racist, yes," Mr Moffitt bluntly said.

"You think every single person who attended that rally - you think all of them were racist?" Martin repeated.

"I think that if you're somebody who sides with Tommy Robinson, a man who has repeatedly said incredibly inflammatory racist statements, you are a racist," the guest responded.

Seeking complete clarification, Martin continued: "So you basically believe anybody who turned up on that march, the Unite the Kingdom march. You're saying they're racist."

"There's a difference between joining a march because you're frustrated about certain things and standing with Tommy Robinson," Mr Moffitt said.

"Dominic, I put it to you. You're part of the problem. You don't you don't understand the British public at all," Martin quietly seethed.

"The same way as Lenny Henry is a totally and utterly tin-eared and out of touch. It's the same as Brexit. It's the same now.

"And I put it to you. The more you call people racist, the more they will turn against you."
