A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a three-week old baby died in hospital in Birmingham.
West Midlands Police said they were called to Dovey Road in Sparkhill at around 3.40am on Tuesday to reports of a baby boy not breathing.
A 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

The child was taken to hospital by paramedics but pronounced dead a short time later. A 26-year-old woman was also taken to hospital for treatment to injuries which are not life-threatening.
A 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and the force said it was not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
Inspector Neil Kirkpatrick said: “This is a real tragedy and our thoughts go out to everyone involved.
“We’ll have extra officers in the area over the coming days to offer reassurance.”
