A Lancashire self storage business has constructed one of the planet's biggest advent calendars, assembling 24 shipping containers into a towering festive display.
Cuboid Self Storage, based in Chorley, unveiled the enormous structure measuring 34ft in height and spanning 48ft across.
The impressive installation contains thousands of presents destined for children across the region.
Each container in the massive calendar holds gifts that will be distributed to local youngsters throughout the festive period, with the company claiming the creation ranks among the largest of its kind globally.
Working in partnership with the Cash For Kids Mission Christmas campaign, Cuboid Self Storage has arranged for the gifts to reach those most in need across Lancashire.
A separate charity benefits from each daily donation, ensuring the presents are spread throughout various communities in the county.
The company has taken a deliberate approach to selecting which organisations receive the donations, prioritising those with strong connections to local neighbourhoods and families who might otherwise go without this Christmas.
The partnership ensures that 24 separate organisations benefit from the scheme by Christmas Eve, with each receiving a substantial haul of presents for the young people they support.

This systematic approach allows the company to maximise the reach of their charitable efforts across multiple communities.
Chris Hickman from Cuboid Self Storage explained the thinking behind their targeted approach to selecting recipient organisations.
He said: "We've been quite specific with the charities that we work with, we want to make sure that these gifts go to the heart of the community.
"We want to help as many people as possible. Anything that we can do to support, we are doing.

Eve Wane-Smith from the Cash for Kids foundation said: "Last year, Mission Christmas Lancashire helped 9,000 children.
"This year, already we've had 16,000 applications."
She added that the county was "really stepping up" with donations to meet demand and that the organisation was very grateful for the help.
