King Charles III has left a heartwarming note to Queen Elizabeth II on top of the former monarch’s coffin.
In a personal touch, the wreath adorning Queen Elizabeth II’s coffin had a note from by the King.
The message said: “In loving and devoted memory. Charles R."
And, according to GB News Royal Reporter Cameron Walker, the note was handwritten.
On Monday morning, the King led members of the Royal Family behind Queen Elizabeth II’s coffin in a sombre walk towards Westminster Abbey.

The coffin was draped in the Royal Standard and carried the Imperial State Crown and a wreath of flowers containing plants from the gardens of Buckingham Palace, Clarence House and Highgrove House.
Around 200 pipers and drummers of Scottish and Irish Regiments, the Brigade of Gurkhas and RAF led the procession.
The State Gun Carriage has also been previously used for the funerals of King Edward VII, King George V, King George VI, Winston Churchill, and Lord Mountbatten.
During the state funeral at Westminster Abbey, Charles was visibly moved and looked close to tears as the national anthem was sung.
Later on Monday evening in Windsor, there will be a private interment service with senior members of the Royal Family, where Queen Elizabeth II will be reunited with her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh.
Queen Elizabeth II’s final resting place will be the King George VI memorial chapel, an annex to the main chapel where her mother and father were buried, along with the ashes of her sister, Princess Margaret.
Prince Philip’s coffin will move from the royal vault to the memorial chapel to join Queen Elizabeth II.
