The political strategist delivered his verdict on the Prime Minister

The "terminal" decline of Sir Keir Starmer’s premiership is now a matter of "when, not if," with leading political strategist John Hulsman predicting Labour will collapse by June as Donald Trump’s new world order tears through Westminster.

Speaking on GB News, Mr Hulsman warned that the Prime Minister is "dumbfounded" and "shocked" by a geopolitical reality he cannot control: a world where the "rules-based order" is dead and Donald Trump is the undisputed Chairman of the Board.

Mr Hulsman said: "Anyone should listen to experts. But if they're wrong about Iraq, Afghanistan, the financial crisis, Libya, the rise of China, the rise of India, the failure of the global war on terror, and whether Wuhan was involved in the virus the New York Times has been wrong about all of that.

"They put all their chips on Joe Biden, who wasn't sentient. The guy, the doddering fool we saw there, was run by his staff as we saw all of whom are Wilsonians wedded, like the New York Times and the Guardian, to this failed philosophy.

"And as I say in Europe, the reason my firm is doing well, the reason I have influence in Washington, the reason realism is back, is because you've made such a mess of the world.

"You've made a mess of it. And so, when you look at this deal with Greenland, it has a feeling of the 'end of days' about it for this mannered, establishment way of doing things.

"I believe the Starmer administration is on a collision course with this reality.

"I’ll go on the record: Keir Starmer will fall. Based on the economic non-growth, the failure to understand this new American realism, and the mounting internal crises, I expect this government to fall by June.

"You either master history or it masters you. And it has mastered Europe, and particularly Britain under this lot.

"You cannot run a country in economic and strategic decline while the rhino, the United States, is moving in a completely different direction. They are realising they aren't at the table; they're on the menu."

Speaking to Fox Business, Donald Trump brushed off suggestions that he had retreated from his maximalist demands.

Instead, he confirmed that a new deal with Denmark will see a massive surge in American boots on the ground, new permanent bases, and state-of-the-art military hardware.

The President called it a "great solution for the United States of America and all Nato nations".

Under the proposals, the US will take over small parts of Greenland by designating them as sovereign military bases.

A draft framework is said to mirror Britain's agreement with Cyprus for the pair of RAF bases at Akrotiri and Dhekelia, which are vital for British power projection in the Middle East.

The bases would be considered American territory in the Arctic region - perhaps via an indefinite lease like Guantanamo Bay in Cuba.

The Cyprus-UK plan is said to be viewed as a creative way of agreeing to Mr Trump's demands to own Greenland. A diplomatic source told The Telegraph: "The idea was to give Trump a deal."

As a result, the US would be able to perform military operations, intelligence, and training, and a level of local development including mining for rare earth minerals - without Denmark's permission.

The US is already allowed to build and run military bases in Greenland, like the Pituffik Space Base, with full "freedom of operation" in designated defence areas, including air, land, and sea.

But the new framework would allow the US to directly control parts of Greenland.

America would not have to seek permits or planning permission from local authorities if it wanted to mine on its soil.
