Former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn should not be allowed back into the party, according to Alan Johnson.
As part of Gloria De Piero's Life and Times series, the former Labour MP discussed his time in government and what should happen next in Labour.
Corbyn was expelled from the Labour party after refusing to recognise the results of an investigation which found numerous accounts of antisemitism in the party.
Supporters including the Momentum group have called for him to be reinstated.

But Mr Johnson told GB News the Labour Party has never been about the far left, and hit out against them trying to infiltrate the party.
When asked if he should be allowed back into the party, Mr Johnson said: " No way!
"Leave it where he is, and he’ll be happy and sanctimonious and pious where he is, leave him there. He never followed the Labour Whip.

"I mean, this idea that we were allowing this campaign group to form their own opinions and their own rules and their own whip – it's madness, and it led to momentum, which was a Jeremy Corbyn fan club.
"I mean, these people are out there, and they're entitled to their beliefs, but they've got to stand on their beliefs, not try and infiltrate the Labour Party.
"The Labour Party has never been to the far left. The trade unionists, who formed the Labour Party, famously said, “more to Methodism than Marxism”.
"Throughout our history there have been the far left that have tried to steal our clothes, because they know that we have purchase in communities, we are part of working-class communities, and for these middle-class revolutionaries they've just been trying to wear our cloak.
"This was the most successful attempt at it, and it ended in the disaster that we saw."
Mr Johnson answered other issues such as the Iraq War, where he said he would vote in the same way if he was presented with the same information again.
When asked for who in the Labour Party could become Prime Minister in the future, he replied "Lisa Nandy".
